Dear healthcare passionate,
Do you have a heart for people suffering from cardio, renal or metabolic diseases? Are you dedicated to make a significant impact on the lives of patients, their families, and caregivers? Then the EMPOWER Award Program is just right for you!
This program awards Belgian initiatives that aim to promote better outcomes for patients suffering from heart failure, diabetes or chronic kidney disease (“Cardio-Renal-Metabolic” or “CRM” diseases).
3 initiatives will be supported by Boehringer Ingelheim through a € 5000 grant each. To win, your project should significantly improve one of the following:
1. CRM disease awareness or early screening for CRM diseases
2. Multidisciplinary Partnership & Collaboration between stakeholders of CRM disease management
3. CRM Patient education & empowerment
The applications will be evaluated by an independent jury consisting of specialists, general practitioners, nurses as well as patients. Jury members will not be allowed to vote for projects linked to their hospital. Winning projects will be announced during an award ceremony at the Boehringer Ingelheim office in Brussels.
